Richard (Mac) McEldowney was a shining example of public service in our Blair County, Pennsylvania community. Whether in his role as youth football coach, Altoona City Councilman, United Way Member, or through his participation in a wide variety of social clubs and service groups, Mac's focus was on giving of himself to the betterment of the community. Mac carried strong convictions about the importance of education as the basis of service and success.
